What counts as monthly revenue?

Only recurring revenue, billed predictably.

Monthly revenue is your recurring subscription revenue per month, billed through Kontier. Each plan includes a monthly revenue volume at a fixed flat rate. Above that, a transparent revenue share applies.

  • Starter: up to €15k monthly revenue included in the flat rate, then 0.8% revenue share.
  • Scale: up to €80k monthly revenue included in the flat rate, then 0.5% revenue share.
  • Enterprise: unlimited monthly revenue at a flat rate, no revenue share.

The revenue share is calculated only on the monthly revenue above the included threshold, not on your entire revenue.

Questions about pricing

Can I try Kontier before committing?
Yes. Starter and Scale begin with 14 days free, using your real data in a workspace of your own. After that it automatically continues on your chosen plan unless you cancel beforehand. Enterprise and On-Premise do not run through self-serve checkout but through a conversation, where we agree the trial and terms together.
How is the revenue share calculated?
Each plan includes a monthly revenue volume in the flat rate: Starter up to €15k, Scale up to €80k. A revenue share applies only to the monthly revenue above that threshold: 0.8% on Starter, 0.5% on Scale. Enterprise is a flat rate with no revenue share.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled monthly, no annual contract required.
Where is my data stored?
In European data centers. Your data never leaves the EU. GDPR compliance is not an add-on, but a foundation of the architecture.
What's included in a plan?
Every plan includes recurring billing, EU VAT OSS, XRechnung + ZUGFeRD, SEPA and cards, plus the REST API. Higher plans add multi-currency, dunning, DATEV export and enterprise features. See the comparison table above for the full breakdown.
